Before my cousin passed away I was beyond focused on taking my blog to the next level. This last month has definitely been a rough time for me. It has been hard for me to get back on track spiritually, physically, and mentally. On top of not feeling 100 percent motivated, it seems like now the odds are stacked against me. Let me count the ways:
- My laptop wasn’t allowing me to upload videos. Finally after a couple of days I was able to upload videos by putting my SD card into my computer. My video program still isn’t working, but whatever. At least I am now able to get back on track with my videos.
- The battery on my laptop is dying. It can’t keep a full charge very long and it seems like it’s overheating. Oh how I wish I had a MACbook. *sigh*
- I need a new camera. My camera is okay, but not for what I’m trying to do. Ugh.
- I need new video editing software. Final Cut preferably, but who wants to put developed software on an old PC? Anyone?
You can put your violins away now. In the midst of all of these issues, I feel like I need to keep going. Yeah my laptop may be old and a bit annoying, but at least I have one. At least I have a video camera and camera. Hey, you have to use what you have. Ever heard the saying ” Bloom where you are planted”?
It seemed like last week was full of annoyance. I’m trying to fix things on my blog, plan for NYC this weekend, and get back on track with my life. I have to realize that it’s not going to be easy. Anything that is worth something, is worth fighting for. So with being said, I’m going to keep going.
Sincerely,
Nikki
