First let me say this post is WAYYYYYYYYYYYY overdue. If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you’re already aware that last week Bookie and I went on a mini vacay to Indianapolis with some of our great friends, Jonathan & Ariel. Since Indy is only two hours away, we took the MegaBus, which was so relaxing! Seriously, I was so physically and mentally relaxed, it felt like I was in a slight coma. I guess that was a blessing and curse, because I haven’t been able to get on track with blogging until…now… and even as I write this, I’m catching up on last night’s episode of Scandal (a commercial is on now, lol).
Alright, let me snap out of it! Last weekend, I swam like a fish, ate crab legs, indulged in cupcakes, cheered for the Bulls in the Pacers stadium, and enjoyed great conversation of friends and my husband. Check it out:
Our Bulls lost, oh well… #AlwaysAFan #iSeeRed
This is the prettiest Starbucks I’ve ever been in. The way to my heart: Chandeliers
We checked out The Flying Cupcake, which was well worth the 20 minute walk
And how cool is this Michael Jordan statue we stumbled upon in Gallery Forty-Two?

Fortune Cookie message: Your mind is filled with new ideas, explore them.
