Last week the good people of ASUS sent me the new Transformer Book T300 Chi. Those unfamiliar may wonder, what exactly is the Transformer Book T300 Chi? It isn’t an tablet. It isn’t an laptop. It’s both. Yep. The best way I can describe the Transformer Book T300 Chi, is imagining your favorite laptop and favorite tablet, just had a baby. The ASUS Transformer Book T300 Chi is the perfect all-around 2-in-1 device.
Fully living up to its name, the Transform Book has the ability to transform into 3 different forms, creating the perfect opportunities to “Go, Play, Create, and Work”.
What I enjoy most about the Transform Book, is its ability to allow me to create and work, as if I’m on a laptop. I’ve never been able to successfully write a blog post on my tablet, which results in me heavily depending on my Macbook Pro. However, I didn’t have any issues posting on my Transformer Book. I was actually shocked at how well it effectively got the job done.
The flexibility is perfect for the many hats I wear in life. Whether I’m busy being a media maven, student, or simply enjoying a night out with the girls, the Transformer Book always fits the occasion. Sometimes a keyboard is very necessary. Other times, it’s a complete waste. The Transformer Book gave me the option to use and ditch the keyboard when needed. Genius.
At first it was hard navigating the system, because I’m become accustomed to my MacBook, but after a day or so it became second nature.
Now to my husband. He’s never taken to any of my gadgets before, but he was immediately impressed by the Transformer Book. I think he believe it belongs to him. When I asked him what he liked most about the Transform Book, he said it’s light and thin, which makes it easy to carry. This is a plus for the man who prefers not to carry much, but still remain productive.
The ASUS Transformer Book is a great addition to our household. Looks like I’ll be sharing my new gadget. By the way, where is that thing?
I participated in the ASUS campaign as a member of bLink Marketing Network. I was provided a free computer from ASUS to review but all opinions are my own.
