“I am a member of the Everywhere Society and Everywhere has provided me with compensation for this post. However, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.“

A few years ago I had a chance to participate in the Macy’s ‘American Icons’ event on State St. It’s getting warmer in Chicago, which is a perfect time for Macy’s to do it again, and they are. This Thursday (May 14, 2015) to be exact.

What is ‘American Icons’? As pictured above, it’s a celebration of the people, places and things we love. In my experience ‘American Icons’ is a mini carnival, history lesson, and celebration wrapped into one.

Last year I had the opportunity to see a few acts from ‘Mo’Town the Musical’ live at Macy’s ‘American Icons’ event. I’m ecstatic to see who will be the special guest this year.

In addition to live talent, there were food demonstrations, LOUD music, and more. I’ll be at the Chicago Macy’s “American Icons” THIS Thursday. Here are the details, so you can meet me there:

May 14, 2015

Macy’s State St.

Meet you there!
