Because Who Doesn’t Want To Stuff Their Face at Macy’s Walnut Room in Chicago?

by Wednesday, May 6, 2015

While frolicking in Macy’s (Forever Marshall Field’s according to us Chicagoans) on State St. this past February, it dawned on me that I’ve never eaten in the historic Walnut Room. Never!

Well that’s officially about to change, thanks to my buddy at Macy’s Culinary Council. Not only have I been invited to stuff my face, but I’ll be indulging in delicacies of world renowned chefs: Cat Cora, Tom Douglas, Johnny Iuzzini, and Takashi Yagihash. What’s the special occasion? A celebration of 125 years in food service! Maybe it’s just me, but I always find myself eating in Macy’s whenever I’m downtown. Their food is yummy! Especially the chicken chili :)

Who: Macy’s Culinary Council

What: Here’s to 125 more!

When: May 16th, 2015. 12 p.m.

Where: The Walnut Room, 7th Floor

I’d love to meet you all there. For more information click here. See you there!
