ATL Bound: What’s In My Bag?

by Friday, September 25, 2015

IMG_7802If you’re a super early bird, as you read this, I’m currently on a plane traveling to Atlanta. Thanks be to God, tomorrow is the Atlanta book launch of #WhenGodSaidYes, to a sold out crowd. I’m happy :)

I like to travel smarter & not harder, especially on days I fly. Check out what’s in my bag:

  1. Proverbs 31 Woman t-shirt. I fell in love with this shirt by Marriage Tees. The Proverbs 31 woman is everything I desire & strive to be.
  2. Coconut Shea Hair Balm by EDEN BodyWorks. I’ll be rocking a blowout twist out this weekend. I won’t have to do much to my hair, except for untwist, and gently massage the balm into my scalp & hair. It makes my hair soft, and it smells divine :)
  3. Steve’s sunglasses. Because.
  4. When God Said Yes by Nikki Carpenter. I’ve heard great things about this book :)
  5. Catfight Lipstick by Fashion Fair. I loveeeeeeee the way it looks on my lips.
  6. My bible. Strength, food, daily bread.

Be sure to follow me on Snap chat, because I’ll definitely be sharing moments this weekend (Nikkiandthecity).  Also, be sure to subscribe to my Youtube channel here.

And since you’re here, check out footage from the #WhenGodSaidYes Chicago launch:

I love you guys :)

Love Always,

Awesome! It’s always encouraging to seek dreams fulfilled in the Lord’s timing! Any details on the New York leg as yet? I have October 24th cleared.

Hey! I don’t know if we’re doing NYC anymore. I’ll keep you posted :(

Oh my, very disappointing. Maybe there could be some outreach to some of the churches with Singles ministries, such as Brooklyn Tabernacle or Times Square Church. I’m praying (and hoping) that something opens up as the Lord leads!

What do you think?
